A loan of $650 helped to buy chemicals, bush knives, weed killer, axes, and rakes.

Falanika's story

Falanika is a 37-year-old, widowed woman with four children. She has a small plantation where she grows taro, taamu, yams, and bananas, that she can sell in her community or at the market. She has been doing this for more than three years.

Falanika needs a loan to buy chemicals, bush knives, weed killer, axes, and rakes. She has been a member of South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) since 2011. Falanika will use the profits from her sales to improve her plantation, support her family, and support her children's education, as well.
