Warmin Sartawipa Group's story

The production and sales of bricks is the main activity of the group Warmin Sartawipa, which when translated to Spanish means "Los Pasos de la Mujer." The group is formed by eleven women who have worked in the center of Villa Tejada with Pro-Mujer for ten years.

Almost all the women are married and with their husbands they work to make progress for the good of their children. After making the bricks, they sell them by taking orders from various regions of the city of El Alto. On occasion they make sales based on credit, which is why they need capital to buy raw materials so they can fill the orders of their clients. They only work with the objective of improving economically to offer well-being to their families.

In this group: Nemecia, Isabel, Leonarda, Joaquina, Luisa, Delia, Delfina, Bertha, Benita, Ana, Feliza
