A loan of $1,700 helped buy bull calves to set up a new livestock-farming business.

Asad's story

Asad is a 25-year-old man from the Shahrituz region of Tajikistan. He is a well-mannered son and a faithful husband. Asad has been a crop farmer for some time already, and would like to start raising livestock as well, seeing as the climate and land in Shahrituz is ideal for it. For starters, Asad is hoping to buy some bull calves from a market called "Iskra" ("Spark"), which he'll then fatten and sell for a profit. However, he lacks the necessary money, and is thus seeking a loan to buy some bull calves to start up his business. He is counting on your support.
