Mrs. Marie-Anne A. was born on April 4th, 1955 in Dassa Zounmè. She is married and the mother of four children, three of whom she still supports. Living in Akpakpa now for approximately ten years, she took on the responsibility of earning money very early. She purchases pasta in Nigeria, a country bordering Bénin, which she then resells to distributors in the Dantokpa-Cotonou market. Over the years she has earned the trust of many clients who will not get their supplies from anyone but her. She has requested this loan to revitalize her business.

Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
