A loan of $1,050 helped to purchase cattle and start a new livestock business.

Muhammadjon's story

Muhammadjon has lived in the Spitamen district for 29 years. He is married and lives with his wife and his parents. His father works as a custodian and his mother is a saleswoman at the central market. Muhammadjon is a taxi driver. This is currently his only job, but the work is not consistent. He decided to start his own livestock business and wants to raise cattle at home. He is well prepared to start a business. He has a barn (he is standing next to it in the photo) and cattle feed, but he does not have enough money to buy cattle. He decided to take out a loan to buy two cows and start his business.
