A.A Ketut Srianti is a Banten maker. Banten is a religious article used in Hinduism faith religious ceremony. The material of Banten is bamboo pieces and coconut leaves.


Her husband is Ida Bagus Sudi Arnawa Yasa, a well known carpenter in their village. They have one son who is now at 3rd grade at the local elementary school.


With initial capital of IDR 200 thousand (around USD 21) she can makes various styles of Banten. She can earn a profit of IDR 50 thousand (around USD 5.5). However if her customers want to place a big volume order, she cannot accept it as she doesn't have enough capital to get the material. Therefore with the loan money from DINARI foundation, she is now able to take the big orders as she can afford to buy the material. With this she can increase her revenue and she can save more money for her son's education fund.
