A loan of $1,975 helped a member to buy 5 barrels of palm nuts, to produce a large quantity of palm oil for resale.

Igiramahoro Group's story

Isaac is a member of the Igiramahore Group, and lives in Bubanza. He is twenty-seven years old, and married to Francine, who works as a trader. Together they have four children, aged from six months to eight years. One of their children attends school.

Isaac has sold palm oil for twelve years. This will be his first loan with the field partner, Turame. He will use his loan to increase his working capital and buy five barrels of palm nuts, which he will use to produce a large quantity of palm oil. He will then sell the oil to increase his earnings.

In the future, Isaac would like to buy a machine to help in the production of palm oil, and provide for his children's schooling.
