Abida’s age is 50; she is married and lives with her husband and eight children in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. Her husband has a job in a firm and earns very low wages. Abida owns a small clothing business at home. She purchases clothes from the market at low prices and sells them at higher prices in her community. The ladies of the town like her garment collection and selection a lot. Her family members appreciate her for her efforts.

Now the winter season is going on, and Abida wants to buy clothes for the winter season to sell. But she does not have enough cash on hand due to household expenses. Abida has requested a loan so she can buy clothes for the winter season to fulfill the demands of her customers. She wishes for a bright future for her children and her dream is to provide a better standard of living for her children. She is very thankful to Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
