Lot is 59 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating rice and fattening up animals for more than ten years, earning approximately $4 daily. Her husband helps her run the business. Three of her children are employed. They earn about $12 each day.
To improve her family’s livelihood, Lot is requesting a loan of $1500 to purchase farmland for rice cultivation. By doing so, she would earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her farming business and help her youngest child earn higher education.
