A loan of $2,050 helped a member to buy business stock of fishes and drinks for selling.


Jipemoyo Group's story

Christiner, who is in her early 40s, is single and has a boy and five girls who are in school. Christiner currently own a fresh water fish and alcohol drinks business. She has been in these businesses for ten years and works from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. per working day. Her projects are doing good and she is able to generate a good monthly profit.

This is Christiner's 10th loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to restock the fish business to meet her clients' demands. Currently her fish business has grown and she is able to earn extra money to meet her family's needs easier. She has managed to pay back all of her previous loans successfully. With the profit she received, Christiner covered her school fees, family food, shelter and medical expenses. She also ploughed back into her businesses to grow. With this new loan, she will buy stock of fishes and drinks for selling in her business. She dreams to open a big shop selling drinks.

Christiner will share this loan with her loan group" JIPEMOYO," which consist of 2 members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
