Nargis's story

Nargis is a married woman from Dushanbe. She is 34 years old with three children. They have two sons (10 and eight years old) and a daughter (three years old). Her husband works in security at the Korvon market. Nargis used to be a school teacher, but is now unemployed.

Because of their family's financial situation, she has decided to go back to work and start a small business. Nargis wants to buy a booth next to one of the town markets, and prepare and sell hotdogs. She figures that this business is profitable and will improve the family's financial situation. They don't have the means to buy the booth so Nargis is not able to realize her idea. She asks for help and believes that people will help her.
