A loan of $3,000 helped to pay for forage for feeding the livestock.

Aida's story

Aida is from Ashotavan village of Syuniq region. She lives with her husband and has been involved in agriculture. They own a big farm which includes livestock of chickens, beehives, pig, sheep, and cows. They also own arable land where they cultivate different types of fruits and vegetables. Aida doesn't work and her husband has retirement pension so the only source of family's income comes from agriculture. For improving her farm and feeding the livestock during the winter season Aida needs financial support. As this is Aida's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative of Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products before, because they have no credit history. Aida and her husband highly rely on the goodwill of the lenders and will be very thankful to them for their support.
