Lolakhan is 44 years old, married and has three children. He husband is currently working abroad, in Russia, because he could not find an adequate job at home to be able to provide for his family. Each month, he sends the bulk of his earnings back to his family in Kyrgyzstan. For her part, Lolakhan is not sitting on her hands, she has been selling fruits and vegetables since 2004, using an initial sum of 4,000 som (KGS) as her start-up capital. Lolakhan was able to grow her business to a point where she now has permanent clients and is making 15,000 som (KGS) per month. In order to further expand her business, Lolakhan turned to the mircofinance bank of Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan to purchase fruits and vegetables that she can resell. Some of the profits from her business, Lolakhan is planning to reinvest back into her enterprise and save the rest for the wedding celebration of her oldest son.

Ежемесячно высылает семье в Кыргызстан большую часть своей зарплаты для поддержания своей семьи. Доходы от кредита Лолахан планирует вложить в увеличение товарооборота и накопить деньги на проведение свадебного торжества для старшего сына.
