Boris's story

Boris is 31 years old and a married man who lives in the city Rustavi with his wife and little child. His wife is a homemaker and looks after her baby. Their only source of income is Boris's parents' help from the village where they run agricultural activities. Boris and his family have just settled in the city and he can't find any state job, despite his secondary education.

Boris applied for this credit to MFO Credo. His request was approved in the framework of Start Up program, which is joint initiative with Kiva, permitting the rural poor to start or re-start businesses. Boris decided to start up a private activity. He will purchase a car that he has already chosen and start a taxi business. He will serve local people and will get daily returns. It will help Boris to satisfy his family's increased needs and provide financial stability.
