Sughran's story

Sughran, age of 41, is the mother of two daughters and three sons, living in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is a very hardworker and a gracious and honest person. Her husband owns a small restaurant in which he offers types of delicious foods two times in a day. He has been running this restaurant for many years, generating a good profit from the restaurant business. Sughran helps her husband by cooking various foods at home which her husband sells from his restaurant. He offers tea to his customers also. Now he wants to establish his restaurant by purchasing new utensils, a cauldron, spoons and crockery, etc. Due to household expenses, his savings are not enough to buy desired things. Therefore, Sughran requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan so her husband can buy utensils, a cauldron, crockery and spoons, etc. She thanks Kiva and appreciates the warm support of her.
