Eliana's story

Eliana is 52 years old and lives in her own house with her family. Eliana has a business selling men's, women's and children's clothes. She receives her merchandise from another city, when it is sent periodically by an intermediary. When Eliana has the right number of items she sells them, as a street vendor, to neighbours, family and friends. She has been doing this work alone for ten years. She likes the business as it gives her peace of mind and the financial stability that she needs. Eliana does not, however, like when it rains a lot, as it makes it difficult to sell her products. Nevertheless, given her good financial results, Eliana wants to continue with this work and to continue progressing. On this occasion Eliana is applying for a loan of 1000 Nuevo Soles and she is very happy knowing that she will have financial backing because, with it, she feels more secure as she moves forward with her business. Eliana promises, once again, to make her repayments on time. Eliana will use this loan to buy clothes, such as t-shirts trousers, blouses and shirts, to sell during this summer season.
