A loan of $200 helped to purchase more plastic cups, plates, and food containers.

Iye's story

Meet Iye. She is in her early 60s and lives in Magburaka, in the Makeni Northern area of Sierra Leone. She is married and has five children. In 1992, Iye established her business selling plastic kitchenware. She began her business because she wanted to create a means of survival instead of depending on her children. She works at the business from 8:00 am until 5:30 pm, six days per week. She says that her business is doing well.

Iye requires a loan in order to purchase more plastic cups, plates, and food containers to expand her business. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to improve her standard of living and increase her business. In the future, Iye plans to open a big provision store. She thanks you for your support.
