A loan helped to buy more stocks of cereals like maize to grind and sell flour to his customers.

Elijah's story

Elijah is 31 years old from Nakuru. He is married to Jane and they are blessed with three children, age 10, 8 and 3 years old.

He owns a posho mill that he uses to grind maize, and he sells flour to his customers. This is a business he has been running for the last 10 years.

To enable him to buy more stock of maize so as to maximize his profit, he has applied for his sixth loan of KES 50,000 from VisionFund Kenya.

Right now, his monthly income is KES 30,000 and he hopes to use the anticipated profit to educate his children and to expand his business further. In future, Elijah hopes to build his plot and buy a public service vehicle.
