A loan of $400 helped to pay for peanuts, sweet beans, chestnuts, garlic and misua to repack.

Rosa's story

Rosa is thankful for the financial assistance extended to her as she was able to buy more products for repacking. Her loan is helpful not just in her business but also in the education of her children. Her income from business is assisting with her family's everyday household expenditures. She and her husband are working hard to provide for their everyday needs.

She would like to apply for another 17,000 PHP loan for her to buy peanuts, sweet beans, chestnuts, garlic and misua to repack. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her family’s daily needs and her children's education. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Rosa hopes to have more customers and dreams of giving her children a good life and education. She meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and draw strength and inspiration from the word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
