Nolberto's story

Nolberto, age 53, lives with his wife and child in the village of El Cumbe. It is a rural area in the Callayuc district. The population devotes itself to farming, commerce, and livestock. It is two hours from the city of Cutervo in the Cajamarca region in the northern highlands of Peru.

He is a farmer, and his main crop is coffee. He has been engaged in this business activity for ten years. He is an enterprising father.

He has requested a loan for 3,000 soles to buy fertilizers to perform maintenance on his crops. This way he will have a better coffee production to offer at a better price to his customers. This way he will generate greater income for his family.
