A loan of $1,400 helped to purchase more onions and carton tomatoes to offer for sale.

Isata's story

Isata, age 42, sells fresh grocery items to earn a living. She established this retail business in 2001 because she wanted to help raise her family's standard of living. She and her husband live in Wara Wara, a northern area of Sierra Leone, with their three children.

Isata works at her business from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. six days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is price inflation and insufficient finances to expand her business.

Isata has requested a loan in order to purchase more onions and carton tomatoes to offer for sale. The extra income from this loan investment will allow her to improve her family's standard of living and increase her business.

In the future, Isata plans to expand her business more than ever.

She thanks you for your support.
