A loan of $250 helped to purchase bales of green vegetables, onions, potatoes, and tomatoes to sell.

Ruth's story

Ruth is married with five school-going children. They live at their own house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.

Ruth has operated a fruit and vegetable stall business for the past two years. She sells from home to her neighbors. She dreams of establishing a mini green grocer in the future.

With the Kshs 20,000, she wants to purchase bales of green vegetables, onions, potatoes, and tomatoes to sell.

She decided to join Yehu to get financial support.
