Alusine's story

Meet 46-year-old Alusine from Wara wara, Makeni northern area in Sierra Leone. He is married with 4 children between the ages of 3 and 20 years. Three of his children are currently attending school.

In 2008, Alusine established his carpentry workshop business. He is very hardworking, with a desire to educate his children. He began his business because he was trained in carpentry. He works at the business every day from morning to night. He says that the main challenge to his business is a shortage of raw material (timber).

Alusine requires a loan to buy more timber to expand his furniture business.

He hopes the extra income from this loan will allow him to increase his business, and change his status of living.

In the future, Alusine plans to open a showroom and employ staff. He thanks you for your support.
