A loan of $1,400 helped to purchase cigarettes, drinks, and soap to expand her business.

Posseh M's story

Meet 42-year-old Posseh from Masuba, Makeni, in the northern area of Sierra Leone. She is married and has five children. In 2000, Posseh established her retail business. She was a housewife; she began her business because she was motivated by her colleague to run a business. She works at the business 15 hours per day, 6 days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is price inflation and proper business location.

Posseh requires a loan in order to purchase cigarettes, drinks, and soap to expand her business. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to pay her children's school fees and expand her business. In the future, Posseh plans to expand her business beyond expectation. She thanks you for your support.
