James M's story

Meet 50-year-old James from Masuba, Northern area in Sierra Leone. He is married with six children. Five of his children are currently attending school. In 1998, James established his clothing material business. He was a teacher but his salary was not enough to take care of his family, so he began his business to earn money to support his family. He works at the business from 7 am until 7 pm, 6 days per week. He says that the main challenge to his business is the high cost of transportation.

James requires a loan in order to buy more shirts, jeans and such for resale. He hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow him to increase his business. In the future, James plans to expand his business more than ever. He thanks you for your support.
