Ibrahim's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 42-year-old Ibrahim from Magburaka, Makeni, in the northern area of Sierra Leone. For the past ten years, he has been running an electronics business within a busy market area where he sells cables, lights, fans, plugs, radio bulbs and switches. Ibrahim works from seven in the morning through six at night six days each week. His main business challenge is his poor purchasing power. Ibrahim did not going to school and he started his business to provide for his family. Ibrahim is requesting a loan to purchase different kinds of electronics such as cables, lights, fans, plugs, radio bulbs and switches. He will use the extra income from his loan to open a savings account and take care of his family’s welfare. In the future, Ibrahim plans to expand his business more than even.
