A loan of $4,475 helped a member to buy lingerie.

Luz De Mi Vida Group's story

The Luz De Mi Vida communal bank will begin its seventh cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Collpani regional center. It is comprised of nine members and led by a board of directors. Oshin is the president. The businesses of the members of the communal bank are varied and include making jackets, weaving blankets, selling belts, neighborhood store, hairdressing services, selling lingerie, and selling shampoo.

The loan that they will take out will benefit small business people where Oshin is a member. She says that she joined Pro Mujer a year and a half ago. She joined by invitation from her aunt, a member of the institution. Oshin currently has a business of selling lingerie. She says that she learned this business from her sister, who has the same business. Later, she decided to set up an independent sales space because it is a good product to sell.

The loan that she will now take out is to buy lingerie that she will get at the fairs in the city of El Alto. Afterwards, she will sell it at her sales space. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her studies as much as possible. She is single.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she responded that she likes the training about health and loans.
