A loan of $500 helped to buy a stove to increase production and provide better customer service.

Oneyda Marina's story

Oneyda is 35 years old, is a single mother, has one son and lives in the municipality of Puerto Cortes. She earns an income by selling pupusas (corn tortillas filled with pork and cheese) and savory pastries filled with beef, rice and potatoes. She has had this business for two and a half years and she has her business in a stall in front of a bus station.

This loan she is asking for is for 10,000 Honduran lempiras, and she will invest it in buying a stove to increase production and provide better service. Her goal is to grow with the business and to open another in a fixed location.
