Edis Suyapa's story

Edis is 41 years old. She lives in a common law relationship with her husband. They have three children and live in the municipality of Azacualpa, Santa Bárbara.

She has been engaged in selling staple food items for two years in order to earn income for her family. She sells rice, butter, sugar, vegetables, soft drinks, corn, bread, condiments, fried pastry sticks, salt, etc.

She has obtained several loans for investment in her business. Currently she is asking for another 15,000 lempiras to stock basic products such as basic grains, meat, vegetables, soft drinks, eggs, bread, butter, and more, in order to increase sales around the December season.

Her goal is to have a larger business and a better quality of life.
