Muashoki Group's story

Stumai, who is in her mid 50s, is married with four children, one of whom goes to school and the rest have finished schooling. For two years now, Stumai has been engaged in a Cafe business, selling cold soft drinks and cooked food. She works from 7:00am to 08:00pm each working day and is able to make a good profit every month.

This is Stumai's first loan from Kiva partner, Tujijenge Tanzania, which she will use to buy rice, maize flour, baking flour, beans, meat, cooking oil and cold drinks. She is a good borrower with a good future. Her dream is to improve her business and be successful.

She will share this loan with her loan group, "MUASHOKI GROUP", which totals 5 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
