Delta Group's story

Geoffrey, who is in his early 40's, is married with four children who are still in school. He has been running a butcher shop since 1995. He works from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily and is able to make a good monthly profit. This will be Geoffrey's 6th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loans to increase the meat stock and has paid back all his loans successfully. He used the profit to pay school fees and cover household expenses. He will use this loan to buy meat and also to start selling fish in his butcher shop. He dreams of building his house. Geoffrey will share this loan with his loan group "Delta Group," which has five members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
