Olivia's story

Olivia is 29 years old and lives with her son and her mother in the Querocotillo district, where it’s residents farm and raise mostly rice and also work as merchants and raise livestock. It’s located two hours from the city of Cutervo, part of the Cajamarca region in the northern mountains of Peru.

She raises and sells corral animals such as Guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, and pigs and has done so for five years. She is asking for a loan of 2,000 Nuevos Soles to buy balanced feed for her animals so she can increase her family income.
