Jose Trinidad's story

José, 32, is married and has two children. He lives in the town of San Pedro Sula.

José has had a grocery store for three years. He sells refreshments, basic grains, chips, canned goods, dairy products, bread, sugar, shortening, condiments, etc. Previously he worked for a private company. When he was out of work he and his wife decided to set up a business, which he has supported with several loans.

The loan José's currently requesting is for 27,000 lempiras [HNL]. He's going to buy basic grains, refreshments, bread, and chicken to stock his store and increase his profits.

His plan is to be able to build his house out of concrete blocks.
