A loan of $1,175 helped to buy women's and children's shoes, sandals, boots, shorts, T-shirts, and dresses.

Ana Marlene's story

This young woman is 29 years of age and has initiative. She is originally from Puerto Cabezas and is a single mother of three school-age children. Approximately nine years ago, she established her own business of selling cosmetics and beauty accessories. The profits she earned enabled her to open a new clothing store at the municipal market.

The borrower is requesting a loan in order to buy shoes for women and children, sandals, boots, shorts, T-shirts for all ages, and dresses. Her merchandise is purchased in Managua and then sold at affordable prices. Thanks to the two previous loans she received from Pana Pana and the profits from her business, she has been able to build a concrete security wall so that she can live safely since it was previously made of another material.

Her dream is to continue growing her business and to support her children.
