Rosa Elvira's story

Rosa Elvira, 42, lives in the district of Cayaltí where the local people are involved in agriculture, commerce and livestock farming. It is located in the province of Chiclayo which belongs to the Lambayeque Region along the northern coast of Peru.

She sells vegetables, soy and sodas. Her business is set up at home and she is a very enterprising woman. The loan she is requesting in the amount of 1,300 PEN will be used to buy tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and sodas to expand her business. This way she will be able to meet the demand in her community and generate more income to lead a better lifestyle.
