A loan of $1,250 helped to buy two dairy cows in order to produce more milk to sell.

Miguel Àngel's story

Miguel, age 31, only has a middle school education. He is married, and his wife devotes herself to the domestic chores. He gets up at 4:00 a.m. together with his wife and children, who go to school. They are dependent upon his business activities.

Miguel is a farmer, a trade he learned from his parents. In order to get to his land, he walks five kilometers. He works all morning while his wife milks the cows and sells the milk. Then, in the afternoon he cares for the animals in the pastures that he rents.

The loan he is requesting is to buy two dairy cows in order to produce more milk to sell.

Migual plans to buy a piece of land for his animals. He now rents, which generates more expenses and decreases the income for his family’s support.
