A loan of $2,050 helped to buy cows.

Chinargul's story

Chinargul is 42 years old, widowed, and is raising 4 children by herself. Chinargul has a higher education, and works in the village council as a secretary. Chinargul's work in animal husbandry, which began 8 years ago with the purchase of cattle for 20,000 KGS, serves as the major source of income for her family. Thanks to Chinargul's hard work, she now has in her herd 1 milk cow, 20 sheep, and 1.32 hectares of land on which she grows beans. Her monthly income is 7,000 KGS. With the goal of increasing her herd, Chinargul turned to the microfinance bank "Bai-Tushum and Partners" for a loan to purchase cows for breeding. With the the money from the loan, Chinargul plans to invest in the further expansion of her herd, and also plans to save towards building a new home.
