Shek Fuad's story

Meet 45-year-old Shek from Waterloo Western rural area in Freetown. He is married with 6 children. His children are currently attending school. For the past 20 years, Shek has established his plastic materials business. He began his business because he did not go to school, so he has to run this business to create a source of income. He works at the business from 8:00 am until 7:00 pm, 7 days per week. He says that the main challenges to his business are price inflation and that transporting his goods from town to Waterloo is very difficult. Shek requires a loan in order to buy more rubber cups, buckets and a variety of food containers. He hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow him to educate his children and increase his business. In the future, Shek plans to import his goods from a neighboring country. He thanks you for your support.
