Rosa Alvina's story

Rosa belongs to the communal bank Mujeres Talentosas, located at 189 Calle Puera in the Callería districtof the Ucayali region. Rosa is 68 years old and the mother of 7 children. Her husband is retired. With the first loan she received from Manuela Ramos, for 300 Peruvian soles, she invested in the sales of juices and hamburgers.

Currently Rosa continues selling juices and hamburger. She gets up at 5 every morning to prepare the juices she will sell later in the day.

With this loan for 1000 Peruvian soles, which she will repay in 4 months, Rosa will invest in the purchase of fruit such as oranges, apples, papaya and sugar.

Rosa is a woman who despite her advanced age like to be active. She is completely appreciative of the great help the Manuela Ramos communal bank provides her.
