Mohamed's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 37-year-old Mohamed from Tombo Western rural area in Freetown. He is married with two children between the ages of 2 years and 7 years. One of his children is attending school. Mohamed runs a general stock business; he sells soft drinks, pure water, butter, soap, and cigarettes. He has been running this business since 2010. He works at the business 12 hours per day and 6 days per week. Mohamed says that the main challenge to his is business is price inflation. The extra income from this loan will allow him to become a successful business man and pay school fees for his children. In the future, he plans to expand his business more than even.
