A loan of $800 helped to purchase 3 packs of men's and women's clothing in Managua and sell them at affordable prices.

Consuela's story

She is a social and hardworking woman who is 61 years old. She is from Puerto Cabezas, is married, and has two children. Her oldest child has finished studying computer engineering and the youngest is studying nursing.

With the goal of reviving her business of selling used clothing, she requests this loan to purchase 3 packs of men's and women's clothing in Managua and sell them at affordable prices in the communities of Sandy Bay and Krukira. Her goal is to earn her own income and support her family.

Ten years ago, she began selling used clothing on foot. However, five years ago, she was in a car accident that caused neurological problems, so she had to be in a hospital in Managua for treatment.

Her dream is to continue helping her family and her mother, who is 96 years old and in poor health.
