Sara's story

Sara is 37 years old and is married. She has 3 children and lives in the municipality of Macuelizo, Santa Bárbara. She sells merchandise and groceries, products like butter, rice, salt, canned goods, toiletries, flour, etc. She also sells blouses, shirts, and underwear, among others. She has had this business for 3 years and runs it in her home. Before, she worked in a child-care center.

She is in the 7th loan cycle and is asking for 15,000 lempiras which she will use to buy products like staple grains, sugar, butter, canned goods, etc., and also perfumes and shoes to stock and sell in this season.

Her goal is to have a bigger business in order to provide education and health to her children.
