A loan of $725 helped to buy fertilizer to help grow his corn crop and to pay for labour for crop maintenance.

Cresenciano's story

Cresenciano is 49 years old and lives with his wife in Caserío Chaupe, a rural village in the district of Querocotillo. It is a community that is involved in agriculture, commerce and livestock, located around two hours from the city of Cutervo, which is found in the Cajamarca region in the northern highlands of Peru.

He has worked in agriculture, growing corn, for the past 15 years. He has a substantial clientele and is requesting a loan of 2000 Nuevos Soles through our field partner Edpyme Alternativa in order to buy fertilizer to help grow his corn crop and to pay for labour for crop maintenance. This will help him to have a good crop yield to offer to his clients, which will generate greater income.
