A loan of $1,500 helped to increase her business merchandise with a special Christmas collection.


Nawal's story

Nawal is a 41-year-old, married woman who lives in a Palestinian refugee camp. She is a mother of one child.

Nawal has been selling clothes and Brazilian gold since June 2013, to help her husband with their household expenses and to educate her child. She started her work by selling her products to neighbors and friends, by putting her products in a bag and passing by them, to market her merchandise. Today, she has her own stable shop where she serves her customers in a well-managed way.

Nawal is acquiring a loan from Kiva partner, Al Majmoua Lebanese Association for Development to increase her business merchandise with a special Christmas collection that will attract customers’ attention and increase her income, which will develop her living.

She is looking forward to continuing to develop and improve her business in a well-managed way, by increasing her business capital.
