Deus is a 37-year-old married man with four children living in Kagadi, Uganda. He runs a beer and soda depot and with the proceeds he has been able to pay school fees for his children and also has started construction of his commercial houses. The seasonal nature of the business affects him since sales increase during festive seasons and decline in other months. Good father that he is, he desires to educate his children to attain degrees as a minimum qualification and to open an outlet in a nearby trading center. Deus intends to use the loan to buy beer and soda to sell ahead of the Christmas season.
