A loan of $1,050 helped to buy a sink and hairdressing tools.

Daisy Johanna's story

Daisy, 27, is a strong and hardworking woman. She works on her own offering manicures, pedicures, and hairdressing services. She learned the business in several training courses she took.

In the beginning, Daisy offered service at home for more than four years. Four months ago she decided to set up a small salon in her house, where she works every day from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., earning enough money to cover her basic household expenses.

Daisy's taking the initiative to request the loan so she can grow her business. With the money she wants to buy a sink and working tools (dryer, brushes, straightening iron, and other things). This way she'll be able to give better customer service and attract more visitors.

Daisy hopes to be able to satisfy demand during the Christmas season, when requests for her services increase, thus improving her income. She says her biggest desire is to get her own house and have her business there so she'll have financial stability and improve her living conditions.
