A loan of $525 helped to buy three calves.

Reyna Isabel's story

Reyna Isabel lives in the village of Los Limones, located 5 km from the town of El Sauce. She is 39 years old and a mother of four children. Reyna was raised in the field among the cows and the grain harvests where her parents taught her to work the farm and to earn a living. She is grateful to them because now she has her own home and has cattle whose milk she can sell to earn money to survive. It is a hard job but she is proud of her roots because thanks to the efforts of the farmers, the country lives on the good quality milk, grains and honey they produce and often export.

Reyna, with the goal of increasing her herd of cattle, is asking for a loan to buy three calves to fatten, develop them and later sell them for a profit. She hopes and trusts in God that her loan will be approved by the Kiva lenders so that she can compete her investment, and thanks them for the unconditional support that they give to people of scarce resources.
