A loan of $700 helped to buy manure and pay for labor.

Gertrudis De Jesus's story

Gertrudis has opted for another loan to finish planting millet and harvesting tobacco, beans, and corn. She will invest in labor costs and paying for manure to treat her different crops and guarantee a good harvest.

With the last loan Gertrudis was able to buy supplies she needed to prepare the land for cultivation and improve her production. She increased the size of her crops, her income grew, and she was able to pay off her debts.
