Ephata Group's story

Group member Mwambikwa has been a merchant for the past seven years. She is advisor and member of the "Ephata" business group. She is 36 years old, married with five children, of whom three attend school and the other two are not yet of school age. She sells used clothing, and is requesting a loan from the Hekima IMF to increase her business activity. This new loan will serve to buy one bale of used clothing. Her spouse is a mason, and she had received her first funding from her ​​husband. In the future, she wants to increase her business activity, and see to her children's schooling, clothing and nourishment. She thanks Hekima for its support to non-bankable women entrepreneurs who have gone through difficult times due to conflicts in the eastern part of the country.
