Sirakan's story

Sirakan, age 24, is from the village of Satkha, and lives with his wife, infant child and parents. He is Armenian, but his family has lived in Georgia for years. Sirakhan works as a manufacturer at the local metal and plastic workshop and gets a monthly salary. His earnings are modest and hardly enough to cover food and household expenses.

In order to generate stable monthly funds, Sirakan plans to pay for a kiosk where he will start a small store. He will also buy stock of merchandise and various food products to sell among the community members. His family members will help him to run the business.
